How to Throw a Harley Party

Depending on the scale of the party, promotions may come into play, especially if this is a gathering with goals to educate and draw in crowds.

     Find a venue for the occasion. If you are planning to have many people bring bikes, a large garage or lot may be necessary. Renting out a warehouse is another option.

     Promote the party, if you are trying to draw a crowd or educate people curious about Harleys. This can be done through press releases in local newspapers or by putting up fliers around town.

     Arrange the bikes in the parking lot, with plenty of space around them so people can circle them and browse without bumping into them.

     Use leather (black) and metal (silver) as a theme for decorations. Cut trash bags into strips and string together as streamers. Blow up and scatter black and silver balloons.

     Serve refreshments. Use a bike theme by baking cookies and decorating them with black and silver icing to resemble bike wheels. Bake and cut cakes to resemble the outline of a bike. Decorate with icing. Use black and silver paper plates and plastic cups.
